Once you've used the software for about a month, you'll rarely need to categorize expenses manually.Īnd YNAB follows a very interesting approach to budgeting. Categories can be assigned to your spending automatically. It uses a familiar spreadsheet format that's very easy to use. I've tried virtually every budgeting tool available, and YNAB is without question the most effective. It even provides useful data on 529 accounts you may have for your children and tracks the value of real estate.įor those focused exclusively on their budget, there's nothing better than YNAB (short for You Need a Budget). You can see if you are on track to retire as planned. The "squeezing" of the affected pixel range from 13 to 9 pixels does not result in the pushing down of the "shadow valley" or pushing up of the "highlight peak". The graph translates the brightness of the pixels into heights.įor the same radius, Lens Bblur affects pixels in a tighter range. This theoretical example shows the difference between the Smart Sharpen "Gaussian" algorithm, (which the regular Unsharp Mask uses) and the new "Lens Blur" algorithm. The above exaggerated theoretical examples were sharpened twice with sharpening parameters which are not recommended in order to make the differences between the two methods more visible. Compared to the third image, the second image has initially more sharpening in the darkest shadows, then about the same, and then sharpening becomes gradually weaker as you move to the highlights. The second image is the first image after applying smart sharpening to the shadows only, while the third image is the first image after applying the conventional unsharp mask. The first image is the original before any sharpening is applied. The normal thing to do is to buy a programmer that works with the PC. Unfortunately the EPROM manufacturers don't always want to release the programming specifications, because they are protecting the programmer manufacturers' business. Another problem however is that not all EPROMs program the same way so you would have to get the specifications on the one you want to program, and make your circuit for that. That's what I did for my first one (in 1985), but it was so slow and so vulnerable to human error that it was almost worthless. If we give you an EPROM-programmer circuit, it will probably be 6502-controlled! (Actually then it would need an EPROM programmer for the 6502 as well though.) Seriously, if you don't already have a computer of some kind, the EPROM programmer would be completely hand-operated, that is, you set the address and data by hand using switches, then push a button which would give a timed programming pulse, and you do that for every single byte. Needless to say, the solution to all of these problems involves a whole lot of violence, as befits the latest and greatest entry in the extraordinarily popular GTA series of games. An already unpleasant homecoming gets worse, though, as crooked cops set him up for the murder of a policeman, he discovers that his neighborhood is falling apart under an influx of drugs, and that his old gang is barely capable of holding their territory. Carl Johnsons back on the set after five years in Liberty City, returning to his old haunts in San Andreas to mourn for his mother, dead after an act of senseless violence. There are four weeks of "heats" (the final show of each week being a quarter final), a "knockout" week, a semi-final week and a finals week. Typically, the show runs for seven weeks and twenty five episodes transmitted from early November until Christmas, although the precise number of shows per week, number of contestants, the running order and nature of the challenges and the number of chefs eliminated at each round has varied from series to series. In 2014, Roux Jr left the show due to "a conflict in commercial interests". Since 2011, Sean Pertwee has taken over Fisher's role as voiceover. The computer I worked with in the Army (1979-82) was a massive thing that filled up a room the size of a house. I had a great time working there and can tell you Air France was and still a great company.Īir France - les itinéraires plus large dans le monde. Some of the other airlines were, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Aeronaves de México, Lan Chili, Loftleidir (now Iceland Air), Sabena (now gone!) Several times a month one of "Le Pelican" flights would be called "Goldfinger" since it would ferry a lot of gold back to France. I remember running flight plans for CC (the 707C that is pictured above) many times. If you dropped the stack of cards while transferring them from the punch machine to the confuser - you would have to start over! Then we would place a large plastic overlay with the ocean coordinates so we could plot the forecast winds and enter that data on those stupid punch cards. We had to place the wet maps on a flat surface so they would dry with out tearing. This was a large format printer that used a rotating drum with an electric wire that would burn in the map data. The weather maps would come in on a "wet" printer. The IBM-360 was state-of-the-art in the mid 60's, today you would fall off your chair laughing if you could see it. I worked an IBM-360 with a two foot hard drive and punch cards to load the wind data to produce one of the first computer generated flight plans. This was a dispatch pool of almost a dozen airlines. I worked for Air France dispatch in KJFK in the west wing of the IAB (international arrival building) in the mid 60's. |
